At Calculus Carbon, we are market makers, acting on behalf of natural capital funds (NCFs) who invest in the nature based projects. We don't manage the funds ourselves but help the NCFs source high quality large scale NbS projects that qualify their respective mandate. 

We enable developers to raise institutional capital by providing comprehensive support throughout the financing process. From establishing exclusive contracts to aligning projects with investor preferences, we ensure efficient financing arrangements for sustainable ventures.

During the process, we help project owners through the due diligence exercise and transaction documents including but not limited to establishing financial additionality, creating financial projections and negotiating a fair price for the project's carbon assets.

In turn, we charge a low single digit success-based fee to the project developer upon investment closure (no retainer).
